When children get to go to school, they gain more than knowledge. They get a steady everyday life, friends to grow up with, and skills they can carry with them through life.
If you sponsor a child, you follow that child's schooling over time. If you sponsor a family, you support the whole home, so the family can use the contribution on what matters most to them.
How we follow up
On the ground in Tanzania, it is Gladness who follows up with the families. She knows them, speaks the language, and stops by to see how things are going both at home and at school.
The children's privacy matters to us. As a sponsor, you receive the updates privately, directly from us. That way you can follow what you are part of, while we protect the children's stories and privacy.
Our work in Tanzania has been awarded the Barn av Jorden prize, and we follow up closely to make sure the help reaches where it is meant to.
